A Fairtrade Special Visitor – 7th March 2017
Cath Greenlees MBE is visiting school today!! She has worked for the Fairtrade organisation for many years, which is what she was awarded her MBE for. Cath has kindly given up her time to visit school to tell the children all about Fairtrade, and how by buying their products, you can make a huge difference to someone’s life. She started the day with telling the whole school about Fairtrade and then moved into Years 3, 5 and 6 and even worked with our Fairtrade committee at lunchtime!!
We have a wonderful array of Fairtrade items displayed in our hall, kindly donated by our local Co op. Some Fairtrade competition sheets have hopefully come home to you in the children’s bags. Please read the Competition sheets of when they arrive, so that the children know what to do…and then make sure that all entries are back into school by 9.30am on Friday 10th March. Good luck!!
